About the event
Offered through the Scarsdale Adult School, learn how to cultivate a consistent meditation practice, bringing the many physical and mental benefits of mindfulness into your life. Regular meditation practice is linked to better sleep, lower blood pressure, improved memory, reduced anxiety, and decreased stress. Participants will learn a variety of meditation techniques, including insight meditation, walking meditation, drawing meditation and more, allowing participants to find the practices that resonate most strongly with them. Obtain practical tips for establishing a regular meditation practice in our already busy lives. Participants will leave the course with the foundation they need to meditate and to reap its benefits.
