Cultivate Equanimity
Service Description
Register with the Center for Continuing Education here: https://registration.xendirect.com/lmcce/courseDisplay.cfm?schID=5190 Experience the Buddhist meditation practice of Loving-Kindness. Practiced for thousands of years, Loving-Kindness (also known as “metta”) is known for its profound ability to help practitioners cultivate equanimity—calm and composure, even under difficult circumstances. During this 60-minute class, you’ll not only experience the practice for yourself, but also learn how to integrate the meditation (should you choose) into your day or week. Participants can expect to leave the session with a sense of spacious groundedness, as well as a new tool to help them connect more deeply with calm in the midst of chaos. Thursday 4/23 1 to 2pm St John's Episcopal Church, 4 Fountain Square, Larchmont, NY
