Register with Wainwright House: https://www.wainwright.org/events/fall-equinox-celebration The Fall Equinox is a perfect time to receive the bounty of the Earth's natural harvest cycle as well as to relax into the cooler temperatures and lengthening nights of autumn. Marking a day of perfect balance between daylight and nighttime, the Equinox invites us all to find balance and harmony in our lives - to receive the gifts of abundance, while also releasing what no longer serves us. Join us for this mini-retreat at the historic Wainwright House, overlooking the water of Milton Harbor. You’ll be guided to open to your own path of harmony, balance, and wisdom through several healing modalities: - A Reiki-infused sound bath, releasing stuck energy, bringing balance back into the body, and creating space for well-being - A labyrinth walk, embodying the ability to both receive and release, finding equilibrium in the ups and downs of life - An Autumn Equinox ritual to align with nature, harvesting the “fruits” already present in our lives, while releasing the “dead leaves” which no longer serve us - An herbal tea blend with nourishing herbs associated with the Fall Equinox, and an opportunity for reflection and sharing in a community circle Celebrating the Equinox allows us to recognize the changing seasons, reflect on the passage of time, and embrace the energy shifts that occur, promoting physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. You can expect to leave this “nearby, get-away” feeling relaxed, restored and in better harmony with yourself and the world around you. This event is co-facilitated with Jen Serena, a Reiki practitioner based in Rye, specializing in energetic clearing. With a calm, compassionate approach, she helps clients find greater physical and mental ease. Jen is a long-time member of the local community, living and working in Rye.
