Register with Sheldrake at: https://sheldrakecenter.org/event/new-moon-renewal-a-forest-mindfulness-and-sound-healing-circle/ Reset with us in the healing sanctuary of Sheldrake’s forest, as we welcome the new moon. Immersed in the restorative setting of nature, you’ll be invited to release old energy, set new intentions, and reconnect with nature and yourself. Participants will be led on a 45-minute mindful nature sequence, including movement, land-connecting rituals, guided breathwork and centering practice, and walking meditation. Then, we’ll enjoy an hour-long sound-healing and meditation practice. For closure, we will conclude with a tea ceremony and community share. These gentle practices support relaxation, reduce stress, and promote overall well-being. Participants will leave feeling grounded, refreshed, and open to new growth and abundance. Join us for this nourishing seasonal gathering and welcome spring with clarity, calm, and connection. Please bring a yoga mat. Additional information to help prepare for this experience will be emailed to registrants in the days leading up to the event. About the facilitators: Cindy Olsen is a Sheldrake Environmental Educator, a certified mindful outdoor guide through Kripalu and the ANFT, and founder of Cindy By Nature, LLC. She is passionate about sharing the powerful physical and mental benefits of nature and mindfulness with others. Katy Romita helps people stop “shoulding” all over themselves and start reconnecting with their innate wisdom and beauty. Known for her warm, down-to-earth style, she makes calm and clarity accessible. A certified Meditation Instructor, Sound Healing Facilitator, and Reiki Master, Katy brings more than two decades of experience in a variety of healing practices. Date: Saturday, October 10 (rain date: Sunday, October 11) Time: 10:00 am-12:30 pm Format: This program is conducted outdoors, with the possibility of time indoors. A rain date is planned for the next day in case of unfavorable conditions. Fee: Register before 9/26 to receive an early-bird discount rate: $45 for members; $50 for non-members.
