Hello and Happy Blue Moon! This message is getting posted on May 31st, the second Full Moon in May - a Blue Moon.
I love that we are all under the same moon, sharing in its constant cycles. New moons are invitations to appreciate beginnings, possibility, and uncertainty. Full moons encourage us to celebrate growth and gifts (even when there is more to do).
Lucky us: today is a bonus full moon, a Blue Moon. Each month usually has only one full moon. But every once in a while, we get a 2nd full moon in one month…once in a blue moon.
Thinking about this jam-packed (with two full moons and more!) month of May, I wanted to offer a very formal invitation for a little bit of a celebration:
Think of a favorite song. One that you used to listen to on repeat, while singing along.
Play it. Ideally, loudly.
Dance, as the saying goes, like nobody’s watching. (I bet nobody is.)
No RSVP is required, but if you do say “yes” to this invitation, I’d love to hear about it!
